Founded in 2008 by Roger Serna, RASE Motorsports is a premier racing organization and marketing operation with roots in Indiana and California. Dick Simon
In 2026, Dick Simon remains an active and influential figure in motorsports through his role as Technical Advisor at RASE Motorsports, a sprint car racing team based in Aliso Viejo, California. Drawing on decades of experience as a successful IndyCar owner and competitor, Simon mentors emerging technical and racing talent while helping shape the team’s strategic direction. Known for his innovative approach, he integrates modern technology and engineering insight to strengthen the team’s competitive edge. His leadership is widely regarded as a game-changer, bringing seasoned expertise and disciplined race strategy to RASE’s sprint car program.
Although he retired from professional driving in 1988 and stepped away from vintage racing in 2018 at age 84, Simon continues to contribute meaningfully to the sport. At RASE Motorsports, he focuses on managing complex technical scenarios within their sprint car initiatives, helping translate advanced engineering challenges into practical, race-ready solutions. Beyond the shop and track, he remains a respected and recognizable presence at major events like the Indianapolis 500, participating in autograph sessions and podcasts while sharing insights from his storied career and ongoing involvement in motorsports innovation.

Jordan Hermansader
Jordan Hermansader is a seasoned veteran of USAC/CRA non-wing sprint car racing and one of the respected competitors in the ultra-competitive 410 cubic inch division. Known for his smooth driving style and technical understanding of chassis balance and throttle control, Hermansader built his reputation competing at some of the toughest dirt tracks in the country.
One of the defining moments of his career came with his victory at the prestigious USAC Turkey Night Grand Prix — one of the most historic events in American open-wheel racing. Winning Turkey Night places a driver among an elite list of national champions and proven race winners. Earlier in his career, he earned 1998 SCRA Rookie of the Year honors, marking him as one of the top emerging talents of his era.
Jordan Hermansader is a seasoned veteran of USAC/CRA non-wing sprint car racing and competes under the leadership of Roger Serna, who manages and fields premier 410 sprint car programs focused on technical precision and national-level results.
OUR MISSION
RASE MOTOSPORTS is a professional race team based in Waldron, Indiana. We compete in the USAC 410 Sprint Car Series as well as the US F4 United States Championship Series, #roadtoF1.
In 2016, the FIA and SCCA PRO established this series to help young drivers transition from karting to formula cars.
We have competed on some of the world’s best-known racing circuits and have our races streaming live on SPEEDTOUR TV, as well as YouTube. Our partners include USAC, Ligier Automotive North America, Parrela Motorsports Holding, Hankook Competition, and SCCA PRO RACING.

Brownstown Speedway
The Brownstown Speedway is a dirt track at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Brownstown, IN. Founded in 1952, people have been racing sprint cars on the dirt track for over 60 years, after it failed to launch as a successful horse racing track.
In the time since, Brownstown Speedway has become one of the premier dirt sprint car tracks in the midwest, and has been dubbed by USA Today as one of the "Dirty Dozen," the top 12 dirt racing tracks in the United States.

Perris, CA
Perris Auto Speedway
A newer sprint car track than the Brownstown Speedway, Perris Auto Speedway was built in 1996 with the intention of bringing a top tier, state-of-the-art sprint car track to Perris, CA.
Located at the Lake Perris Fairgrounds, The PAS features a raised back stretch to provide fans in the grandstands with a better view over the trailers in the infield.
